Ronaldo responds to Real Madrid whistles with celebration

The Portugal international, who criticised his team-mates last week, was jeered by Madrid's supporters when he lost the ball against Celta Vigo
Cristiano Ronaldo was whistled by Real Madrid's fans in Saturday's clash with Celta Vigo but issued an emphatic response during his goal celebration.

The Portugal international was jeered by Madrid supporters when he lost the ball and failed to win it back, but after scoring his first of the match in the 50th minute, he turned to the crowd and put his hand to his ear.

Ronaldo then went on to score two more to complete his hat-trick, with Zinedine Zidane's men leading 4-1 win.

Last week, Ronaldo launched a stunning outburst towards his Real Madrid team-mates, claiming that if they were at his level, the club would be ahead of Barcelona in La Liga.

The 31-year-old followed up his comments by claiming that he was referring to Madrid's poor run of injuries.
