The IIT Madras Summer Internship Program of two months with stipend is designed to enhance awareness and interest in high quality academic research among young Engineering, Management, Sciences and Humanities students through a goal oriented summer mini-project undertaken at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras.
Who can apply: 3rd year students of BE/B.Tech/B.Sc/Integrated ME/M.Tech. program, 1st year of M.Sc/MA/MBA with outstanding academic background in terms of high ranks in university examinations can apply.
Please note that IIT students are not eligible.
Participating Departments: Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Applied Mechanics, Biotechnology, Engineering Design, Metallurgical & Materials Engineering, Ocean Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Humanities & Social Sciences, Management Studies.
Location: IIT Madras
Duration: 2 months (May 16, 2015 to July 15, 2016). Schedule may be flexible to suit student’s convenience.
Stipend: Rs. 5000/- per month will be given as a stipend for a maximum period of 2 months.
